We’ve been awarded ISO 27001:2022 certification following an independent audit by TÜV NORD. The certification covers information‑security management across the design, development, validation, deployment, operation and maintenance of the cloud‑based disease‑management system and its web‑ and native‑mobile applications that support diabetes care, including the development, hosting and support of the CloudCare platform.

CloudCare is a CE‑marked, brand‑agnostic remote tele‑monitoring and advanced‑triage solution. It aggregates device data into a single view between clinic visits, flags patients who need attention and enables care teams to act on those signals rather than waiting for the next scheduled appointment. Published results show that this approach can reduce face‑to‑face consultations by up to 60 % without compromising outcomes (van Beers et al., BMC Endocrine Disorders, 2025).

Because CloudCare is built on a continuous flow of patient device data, strong information security directly supports both clinical confidence and technical excellence. ISO 27001 defines a structured information‑security management system that assesses risk, applies controls and drives continual improvement. Certification confirms that these processes have been independently verified against the international standard.

“Achieving ISO 27001 demonstrates that CloudCare meets the highest global requirements for risk‑based security controls, so the data clinicians rely on is adding to both safety and trustworthy. It reinforces our commitment to protect patient health information at every stage of the tele‑monitoring journey.”
— Bert Aerts, IT Product Owner & Business Analyst

The certification is not an end‑point but a foundation for ongoing improvement. We have put robust processes in place to continuously monitor, audit and enhance our security posture, ensuring that CloudCare remains compliant and resilient as threats evolve.

For hospitals and health‑service organisations evaluating the use of CloudCare, the certificate can be supplied on request as part of the procurement package.
