Christine Fransman
Christine Fransman is Research Program Coordinator at Diabeter Netherlands, where she supports the planning, organisation and execution of research activities that contribute to improved care for people with type 1 diabetes. She joined Diabeter in September 2022 and, in addition to her research coordination role, has served as Patient Complaints Officer since May 2023, helping to facilitate constructive communication between patients, families and care teams when concerns arise.
Christine has a background in health sciences and a strong interest in effective, patient-centred care and health system performance. Before her current role, she further broadened her understanding of healthcare contexts by completing advanced training in public health and disaster response, deepening her perspective on health system resilience and global health challenges.
At Diabeter, Christine contributes to the organisation and documentation of research programmes and plays a key part in ensuring that the patient voice is heard in both care delivery and research endeavours, helping bridge academic, clinical, and lived-experience perspectives.
